Kathmandu, Jan 9: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the governing body of Nepal cricket, has appointed Utsav Dhungana as the General Manager .
Issuing a press statement on Monday, CAN has announced the new appointment. CAN earlier issued a notice calling for applications for the post of General Manager.
Previously, Dhungana was the operations and program director of the organization. CAN was without a general manager for 6 months after Britanta Khanal resigned.
CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand, Secretary Paras Khadka and former Vice President of National Planning Commission Govinda Raj Pokharel have selected the new GM.
CAN had requested applications for the general manager last month. Sixty-one people applied for the post.
