Kathmandu, May 3: Members of the Dalit community on Sunday staged a protest in Maitighar, Kathmandu, against the incidents of caste discrimination occurring in various regions of the country.
The demonstrators, organized by the United Political Dalit Struggle Committee and the Dalit Civil Society, carried placards calling for actions against those responsible for the recent discriminatory events in Sindhuli, Rolpa and Kaski districts.
Daljit Shripali, the coordinator of the Struggle Committee, emphasized the necessity for an investigation into the death of Krishna BK, who was apprehended from the Satdobato area in Lalitpur district on April 16 and was put into the police custody in Khurkot, Sindhuli. #nepal #rss
