Kathmandu, Feb 5: In the second warm-up match ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup, Canada set Nepal a target of 162 runs.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Canada scored 161 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
For Canada, Navneet Dhaliwal top-scored with 41 runs. Similarly, Shreyas Movva remained unbeaten on 38, while Kanwarpal Tathgur added 25 and Jaskaran Singh chipped in with 21 runs.
In the bowling department, Nepal’s Sandeep Lamichhane and Kushal Bhurtel took two wickets each, while Sompal Kami and Nandan Yadav claimed one wicket apiece.
