Kathmandu, March 29: A mild earthquake struck Sindhupalchok District late Saturday night, with its epicenter around Nulthala Kharka, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center.
The quake, measuring 4.5 on the local magnitude (ML) scale, occurred at 11:35 PM. The Center, operating under the Department of Mines and Geology, confirmed that the epicenter was located in the Nulthala Kharka area of Sindhupalchok.
Tremors were felt across the Kathmandu Valley and nearby districts, causing brief concern among residents.
