Kathmandu: The Election Commission has provided election symbols to the parties contesting in the November 30 by-election.
According to the Commission’s election schedule, by-poll is being organised in Kaski constituency 2 for a member of the House of Representatives, and in Bhaktapur constituency 1 (A), Baglung constituency 2 (B) and Dang constituency 3 (B) for State Assembly members.
Election symbols have been provided to a total of 21 candidates (11 from various political parties and 10 independent ones) for Kaski constituency 2, said the EC.
Likewise, the total 19 contestants (nine from various political parties and 10 independent ones) have got election symbols for Bhaktapur constituency 1 (A).
Similarly, a total of 10 candidates (eight from various political parties and two independent ones) have obtained election symbols for Baglung constituency 2 (B).
The total 14 contestants (12 from various political parties and two independent ones) have got election symbols for Dang constituency 2.
