Birtamod, July 3: A man was crushed to death by an elephant at Phaktalung in Birtamod Municipality-7, Jhapa district.
Khagendra Bahadur Khadka, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of District Police Office, Jhapa, said that 59-year-old Lok Prasad Limbu was attacked by the elephant in front of his house this morning.
Police said that Limbu died on the spot.
