Kathmandu, June 13: A prison inmate who escaped from the Lalitpur-based Nakkhu Prison during the Gen Z movement held on September 8-9, 2025, ,has been arrested from Mudhe of Sunkoshi rural- municipality-9 in Sindhupalchowk.
He is Sunil Shrestha, 44, of Sailung rural municipality-8 in Dolakha. He was serving a five-year jail sentence in a dacoity and theft case.
A team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office apprehended him from Sindhupalchowk. Following his arrest, he has already been returned to Nakkhu Prison, the Office said. #nepal #rss
