Kathmandu, March 31: The Federal Parliament Secretariat has called an all-party meeting for Wednesday ahead of the upcoming Parliament session scheduled for Thursday, April 2.
The meeting will begin at 1:00 pm, and all political parties represented in Parliament have been invited to participate, according to Secretariat Spokesperson Ek Ram Giri.
President Ramchandra Paudel has summoned a joint session of the Federal Parliament at 2:00 pm on April 2, following the recommendation of the Council of Ministers on March 30.
This will be the first Parliament session after the House of Representatives (HoR) elections 2026, and it is expected to begin with the election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
The House of Representatives currently consists of six political parties recognized as national parties. #nepal
