Kathmandu, Aug 9: Out of 313 books received for Madan Puraskar 2079, five books have been shortlisted for the prestigious award.
According to the Madan Puraskar Guthi, among the shortlisted books are Subin Bhattarai’s Izoria, Bibek Ojha’s Aithan, Dwarikanath Dhungel’s Chakravyuha ma Nepal ko Jalsrot, Pragati Rai’s Thangra and Sanjay Bista’s Matoko Ghar.
According to Guthi, the Madan Puraskar of 2079 BS will be given to one of the books included in the best list.
Earlier, the 2078 BS Madan Puraskar was won by Navaraj Lamsal’s Agni.
