Kathmandu, Jan 26: Former King Gyanendra Shah visited the renowned Janaki Temple in Janakpurdham today to offer prayers.
The former Head of State prayed for the peace, prosperity, and overall welfare of the nation and also took part in various religious rituals on the occasion.
His visit drew a large number of devotees and members of the public to the temple premises.
During his stay, Shah also visited the nearby Ram Temple, located about 500 meters from the Janaki Temple, and paid his respects at the Rajdevi Temple.
Furthermore, he participated in the Ganga Aarti ceremony held at Gangasagar later in the evening. #nepal #crown
