Former Prime Minister Khanal infected with coronavirus

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and senior leader of CPN (UML) Jhala Nath Khanal has been diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19).

Khanal, who was admitted to Manamohan Hospital after suffering from diarrhea, has been confirmed to have coronavirus. According to a source close to Manamohan Hospital, he has been sent to Norvic International Hospital for further treatment.

Khanal’s health condition is said to be normal.
