DAILEKH: Four persons were killed in a road accident at Sisne of Aathbis municipality of Dailekh on Wednesday night.
The deceased have been identified as Prem Sunar and Kashiram Pandey of Dullu municipality-9, Gyan Bahadur Bam and Dhankala Shahi of Palata rural municipality-3 of Kalikot district, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Dailekh, Bhuwaneshwor Shah.
The bus (Ma 1 Kha 660) heading towards Nepalgunj from Kalikot met with an accident at Sisne of Aathbis municipality of Dailekh on Wednesday night.
Similarly, those injured in the accident have been receiving treatment at a local health post and Karnali Provincial Hospital, Surkhet.
Meanwhile, a woman has died in a road accident involving an ambulance at a place called Dui kilo on the Lamosanghu-Jiri road section.
The ambulance (Ba 20 Cha 6327) operated by Khadichaur Savings and Loan Cooperative Society met with an accident last night. The deceased has been identified as Manmaya Khadka, 89, of Sunkoshi municipality-7, according to the District Police Office.
Khadka died after the ambulance crashed into a house on the side of the road.
