Four Nepalis killed in road accident in India

Dhangadhi, June 11: Four Nepalis died in a road accident near the bordering Indian market Banbasa. Four Nepalis riding a scooter died when a car and two scooters collided on Saturday afternoon in Chakarpur under the Banbasa-Khatima road section of Uttarakhand, India.

Indian media have mentioned that Nem Bahadur Chand (60), his wife Saraswati (56), daughter-in-law Narmada (27) and brother-in-law Kalpana Chand (42) have lost their lives. They were the residence of Ultakham of Bhimdatta Nagar of Nepal and Mudeli under Uttamsinghnagar district of Uttarakhand, India.

All of them were returning to Mudeli after performing pooja at Bhimdatta Municipality-2 Ultakham in Kanchanpur of Nepal. They were traveling on 2 scooters and collided with a car in Chakarpur. They were declared dead as soon as they were taken to the nearby hospital.
