Gold price record high in Nepali market, Trading at NRs. 105,500 per tola

KATHMANDU: The trading price of gold and silver has set a record high today.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs of Nepal, the hallmark gold is trading at Rs. 105,500 per tola. Compared to the previous day, it has increased by Rs. 2,500 per tola. Likewise, the price of worked gold is Rs. 105,000 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver today is Rs 1,450 per tola, according to the federation. The federation has been fixing the daily trading price here on the basis of fluctuations in the price of gold and silver in the international market.

Within a span of two weeks the gold price has increased nearly Rs 10,000 per tola. The Nepal Rastra Bank, central bank of Nepal, has already announced ceiling of 10 kg per day for importing gold. Previously, the traders were allowed to import 20 kg of gold per day.

The Russia-Ukraine war has played a key role on increasing every items, including fuel, gold and other daily commodities.
