Kathmandu, Feb 23: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has viewed the journey begun for good governance, social justice and prosperity is the journey of socialism.
Good governance is a foundation of socialism, while corruption control is must for building good governance, PM Dahal stressed while addressing a programmne here Friday. “Socialism is unachievable unless the rights of poor and peasants are addressed,” he asserted.
The PM further said everyone should be entitled to wage proportionate to their works. “Good governance, social justice and journey of prosperity are therefore interlinked,” he buttressed.
According to him, country got federal democratic republic based on workers’ unity, right thoughts and leadership. He urged the audience not to take negatively the sacrifice in various movements, but mull the achievements in the fronts of inclusion- rights of women, indigenous, Madhesi and Muslims. Present situation is resulted after the sacrifices of martyr, PM Dahal reminded.
The workers and peasants are the leaders of socialist revolution, he said, suggesting the workers to be clear in thoughts.
On the occasion, the PM stated that some reactionary forces were trying to challenge the present achievement of federal democratic republic which must be frustrated.
The backlogs of transitional justice would be sorted out after making a law on it, which, he argued, would ensure reparation and respect to the conflict victims. #Nepal
