Morang, July 4: Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has stated that the government is prioritizing border security and enhancing the physical infrastructure of the police force.
During his visit to gather information regarding the security situation along the Nepal-India border, Minister Gurung spoke to reporters at Biratnagar Airport, emphasizing that the government is committed to improving the deteriorating buildings and infrastructure of police offices.
Gurung noted that he had received reports indicating that police office buildings in various districts across the nation are in a state of disrepair, and mentioned that the government is preparing for the reconstruction and upgrading of these facilities.
In a separate statement, Minister Gurung indicated that the Home Administration is actively working to combat smuggling, enhance security surveillance, and improve coordination among security agencies.#nepal #rss
