Kathmandu, Nov 2: The 27th general assembly of the General Practice and Emergency Medicine Association of Nepal (GPEMAN) held here today has unanimously elected a new executive committee under the chairmanship of Dr Bishwaraj Dawadi.
Dr Suresh Prasad Nepal has been elected as Senior Vice-President, Dr Tirthman Shrestha as Vice-President, Dr Bikas Gauchan as General Secretary, Dr Santosh Bastola as Joint Secretary, Dr Sanjay Kumar Gupta as Treasurer, and Dr Aarati Shah as Joint Treasurer of GPEMAN for the next three years.
Similarly, Dr Aishana Joshi, Dr Dayaram Lamsal, Dr Deependra Timilsina and Dr Rajeev Raj Thapliya are members of the executive committee.
This organisation, established in 2010, has more than 800 doctors working in emergency and general medical fields in government and private hospitals as well as health institutions in remote areas.
The newly elected President Dr Dawadi expressed the confidence that the new leadership will play an effective role in maintaining the unity of the organisation, professional advancement, and contribution to emergency health services.#nepal #rss
