Kathmandu: Former King Gyanendra Shah has said that the present situation of Nepal is very serious and critical stage, and people felt absent of guardianship and orphan at times of great crisis.
Issuing a statement on the occasion of Bada Dashain and Deepawali on Thursday, Shah said, “The state will survive if we protect people at times of crisis, and the politics will survive if the state survives.”
In his statement, Shah has expressed disappointment over the handling of current crisis Nepal is facing, instead political parties and their leaders have ignored the people’s suffering.
He has also wished all Nepalese a prosperous and happy life who are living in Nepal and abroad.
