Kathmandu, Aug 13: Hemraj Dhakal, Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), has been appointed as a board member of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). He will serve as a representative from the private sector.
According to the statute of the SEBON, one representative each has been appointed from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Law, the Nepal Rastra Bank, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal, and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
SEBON Chairman Santosh Narayan Shrestha administered the oath of office and secrecy to Dhakal. The position of board member from the private sector is a regular appointment at SEBON.
