Kathmandu, April 2: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane held a meeting with the Ambassador of Germany to Nepal, Thomas Prinz, on Tuesday, the Home Minister’s Secretariat stated.
Home Minister Lamichhane discussed the issues of reforms on e-gate to curb the border crime meant to make immigration high-tech.
Likewise, Home Minister Lamichhane said that needed coordination would be done for the students interested to go Germany for vocational training as lack of coordination between the concerned ministries has created difficulties for the students leaving for Germany for vocational training.
Extending best wishes for the successful tenure, the German envoy expressed readiness for cooperation in building an e-gate adding that it was required to reform Nepal’s immigration. #Nepal
