Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs Rabi Lamichhane has reached the passport department.
On Wednesday afternoon, he reached the passport department in Tripureshwar for monitoring.
In recent times, common people have to stand in long queues in the passport department.
The first meeting of the Council of Ministers has decided to improve service delivery and said that the compulsion to stand in line would be removed. However, the department has not improved it’s services in accordance with the Cabinet decision.
