India assists school building construction project in Morang



Kathmandu, April 19: A foundation stone for the construction of Shree Panchayat Secondary School Building at Sundarharaicha Municipality, Morang was laid on Friday.

The project has been assisted by the Government of India and the foundation was led jointly by Panchakarna Rai, Minister of Social Development, Koshi Province, Kedar Prasad Guragain, Mayor of Sundarharaicha Municipality and Garima Nautiyal, Second Secretary, Embassy of India, Kathmandu.
Political representatives, government officials, social workers and teachers of the school, students and their parents were also present on this occasion, the Embassy said in a press statement.
The project is being implemented under the ‘Nepal-India Development Cooperation’ at the cost of Rs 28.10 million.
The grant is being utlised for the construction of a triple storied school building and other allied facilities, it is said.
