Kathmandu, Jan 17: Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav held a courtesy meeting with India’s Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, today at the Vice President’s Office in Lainchaur.
During the meeting, discussions were held on various matters of mutual interest, including bilateral relations, high-level visits, economic cooperation, Nepal’s developmental priorities, and collaboration in regional and international forums, according to Vice President Yadav’s Press Coordinator, Dinesh Yadav.
On the occasion, Ambassador Srivastava highlighted India’s “Neighborhood First” policy, emphasizing its continued implementation. He informed that, despite India’s ban on wheat exports, a special provision has been granted for the export of 200,000 tons of wheat to Nepal. #nepal #india
