Anuradha Paudwal: It is generally seen when one good soul departs, like somebody like Lata ji… all the good people go together. I have thousands of memories of Bappi da. Arjun (Paudwal) ji was an assistant to him. So for ‘Namak Haram’, and all these Sridevi’s movies, Arun ji has always been his assistant. So we would often visit Bappi da’s residence. His family was like an extended family to us. Before Arun ji passed away, he said ‘Anuradha, never think that you are alone. This is also our family. Bappi da was a genuine person, a great lover of food. He spoke to everyone with love, he would never speak ill of anyone or raise his voice at anyone. He was very dependable, you could always count on him.”

Mika Singh: ‘Chalte chalte, mere yeh Geet yaad rakhna.. Kabhi Alvida na Kehna…’ The Legend, God of dance numbers, the great composer and singer who has given a huge number of songs to the industry my all time favourite Bappi Lahiri has sadly passed away leaving us with his most beautiful music and memories. He will be in our hearts forever. I was fortunate enough to do so many shows with him and sing live together.. this was my tribute to the Legend. May God bless his soul, rest in eternal peace. Om Shanti.’ [PTI]
