Tanahun, Feb 20: Death toll has reached three in an accident of a jeep carrying wedding attendees on the interior road in Anbukhaireni rural municiplaity-1 Giranchaur of Tanahun.
Two persons died and other 16 were injured when the jeep carrying wedding attendees met with the accident. The jeep was bound to Chhapswara.
Among the injured, Sher Bahadur Gurung, 56, of Anbukhaireni rural municipality-6 died while undergoing treatment on Monday night, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mohan Bahadur Khand. In the accident, Aaspur Guirung, 72, of the same place and Tulasi Gurung, 17, residing in Byas municipality-9, Gajaud breathed their last. Other injured are being treated in Chitwan, the police shared.
