Karnali, July 3: Karnali Province has unanimously passed the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, 2026/27.
In the 20th meeting of the current session of Province Assembly held Friday, Speaker Nanda Gurung allocated time for Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning, Rajiv Bikram Shah, to present a budget proposal.
This proposal included the overall budget for the upcoming fiscal year, 2026/27- Appropriation Bill, 2026 and the Karnali Province Finance Billm 2026.
The proposal was tabled in accordance with Rule 148 (12) and 141 of the Karnali Province Assembly Rules,2026.
Speaker Gurung announced the unanimous approval of the budget, with voice vote from the Province Assembly members.
The Assembly is scheduled to convene next on Monday at 3:00 pm. #nepal #rss
