Biratnagar, March 23: Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Kedar Karki, has stressed the need of consensus-building and the formation of an all-party government in Koshi to institutionalize federalism.
In his address to an AGM of Nepal Anti-Tuberculosis Association (NATA) here on Friday, the Chief Minister, representing the Nepali Congress (NC), said that the formation of a new alliance in the central politics would not affect the Koshi government.
Karki said he is initiating to form an all-party government in the Province as per the sentiment of CPN (UML) members.
“The government in Koshi functions within the frame of the Constitution as it was formed constitutionally not on the basis of the central alliance at the time.
Therefore, the change in the central political equitation won’t impact the government in the Koshi.” #nepal
