Biratnagar, Jan 29: The Koshi Province Government has called on identity supporters to come for talks. The meeting of the dialogue committee formed by the Koshi Province Government appealed to the agitating side to come for talks.
The call for talks has been made stating that serious attention of the provincial government has been drawn to the agitation taking place in different locations including Taplejung for the past few days. The meeting of the committee led by the Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of the province, Ram Bahadur Rana, formally decided to call the agitating side for talks.
In the context of the progress of the cable car construction in the Pathibhara of Taplejung, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law, Rewatiraman Bhandari, said that the provincial government is committed to resolving the dispute through talks with the parties.
It may be noted that the provincial government had formed a committee in November 2024 under the coordination of Minister Rana. The committee includes Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development and Health Bhupendra Rai, Minister for Internal Affairs and Law Bhandari, and Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law Kamal Thapa. #pathivara #cablecar #nepal
