KP Oli: Bowling and batting…



Pokhara, Nov 23: The KP Oli Cup T20 cricket tournament has started in Pokhara from today.

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli inaugurated the tournament which started at the cricket ground in Pokhara Stadium under the organization of Madan Bhandari Sports Academy.

Chairman Oli inaugurated the tournament by bowling and batting. The opening match of the tournament is being held between Madan Bhandari Sports Academy ‘Rato’ and Bagmati Province.

Academy ‘Rato’ won the toss and Captain Amar Mishra chose to field first. Bagmati is captained by Sandeep Lamichhane.

Seven teams from 7 provinces, 12 teams including 2 from Nepal Police, Nepal Army, APF and Madan Bhandari Sports Academy are participating in the competition.

The winner will receive 5 lakhs, the runner-up will receive 250,000 cash along with a shield, medal and certificate.

The Man of the Series will receive Rs 30,000 cash, the Best Bowler Rs 20,000 and the Man of the Match Rs 5,000 cash.
