Kuwait lost 6 wickets, Karan took 5 wickets, rain stopped play

Kathmandu, April 29: In the first semi-final match of the ACC Premier Cup cricket, Kuwait lost 6 wickets against Nepal.

Nepal’s fast bowler Karan KC has taken five wickets. Karan took five wickets in 4.3 overs with a maiden for 10 runs. Similarly, Sompal Kami took one wicket.

In fresh condition, Kuwait has scored 37 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 8.3 overs.

Meanwhile, the play has stopped due to rain and bad light. Earlier, Nepal scored 281 runs by losing 9 wickets. Due to bad light and rain, Nepal’s first inning was reduced to 42 overs.

Nepali batsmen demonstrated good batting tempo today as well. Openers Kushal Bhurtel scored 43 runs while Aashif Sheikh 31 runs. Likewise, Captain Rohit Paudel top scored with 94 runs. He hit 3 sixes and 7 fours. Kushal Malla also added valuable 57 runs facing 44 balls.

According to DLS method, Kuwait still needs 244 runs in 33.3 overs.
