Lumbini, June 14: The Lumbini provincial government is set to present its budget (estimate of income and expenditure) for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 in the provincial assembly on Monday.
Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Dhanendra Karki is scheduled to present the budget at 5:00 pm before the provincial assembly.
The provincial government has stated that it is preparing to present the budget by giving high priority to payment of liabilities, provincial pride projects, multi-year and sequential plans.
The focus is on increasing production, employment, infrastructure development, good governance and social justice.
The government has prioritized modernization of the agricultural sector, expansion of irrigation, organic farming, protection of local and indigenous crops, branding of agricultural products and value chain development.#nepal #rss
