Siddharthanagar, May 27: The Lumbini Province Assembly has passed the annual policies and programmes of the province government for the fiscal year 2025/26 by a majority.
In the eighth meeting of the province assembly today, the Chief Minister of the Lumbini Province, Chet Narayan Acharya had presented a proposal seeking endorsement of the policies and programmes.
While presenting the proposal for decision, Speaker Tularam Gharti Magar announced the endorsement of the province government’s policies and programmes by a majority.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Acharya responded to the queries raised during the discussion on the policies and programmes. ‘The government will prepare the upcoming fiscal year’s budget based on the policies and programmes’, he clarified.
Speaking during the special hour, opposition party leader Jokh Bahadur Mahara drew the government’s attention on the contemporary issues. #nepal #rss
