Kathmandu: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and a parliamentary delegation of Japan had a meeting on Thursday.
Chairman Nepal held a meeting with Japanese Member of Parliament Massaki Jaira at the party central office in Aloknagar, Kathmandu.
Matters related to the Nepal-Japan relations, economy, hydropower projects, tourism, Narayanhiti palace museum and Japanese assistance were discussed in the meeting, shared CPN (Unified Socialist)’s publicity department chief Jagannath Khatiwada.
Also discussed on the occasion were the inter-relations between the political parties active in Japan and Nepal.
Recommendations were exchanged on the priority areas of Japan for economic investment on the occasion, it was informed.
The delegation had shared appreciation on behalf of Japan in regard to the role and contributions of Nepal workers in the labour area.
On the occasion, former PM Nepal lauded Japan’s role for the development of Nepal while explaining Nepal-Japan relations and bilateral interests.
Likewise, Nepal stressed the need to strengthen collaboration in coming days as well.
