Mero Voice and Dance Universe competition tomorrow: Who will win 1 crore prize?



Kathmandu, August 18: The final competition of ‘Mero Voice Universe’ and ‘Mero Dance Universe‘, which has the highest prize money reality show in Nepal, will be held tomorrow, Saturday. The last five contestants of these two competitions are competing on Saturday to become the winner.

The winner of both the competitions conducted by the Intra-National Welfare and Support Foundation of America will receive Rs 10 million, the runner-up will receive Rs 30 lakh and the second runner-up will receive Rs 20 lakh and various other prizes. Nepal Television will telecast live the Grand Finale between the top five who are in the last five at the Sunrise Conference Hall in Godavari on Saturday evening. There is also a group dance under dance and the winner will get a prize of Rs 30 lakh.

Shishir Thatal and Pritam Rai of Sikkim, Sairaj Khati of Darjeeling and Paresh Rai of Sankhuwasabha of Nepal and Sharad Humagai of Kavre are in the final five for the singing competition ‘My Voice Universe’. Similarly, for the dance competition ‘My Dance Universe’, Minga Dee Lepcha (Sikkim), Khushi Karki (Thailand), Devi Garbuja Magar (Belgium) and Nepal’s Nation Susling Magar (Mahottari) and Swastik Aryal (Gorkha) are in the last five.

It is said that the two programs broadcasted for three months have managed to attract the attention of Nepalis all over the world. Talents who are preparing for the final competition in both competitions expressed their happiness that they were able to come to their mother and fatherland Nepal for this competition and said that even though they are in the final competition, they want to see each other succeed.

Dilli Adhikari, the president of the foundation, has been saying that the competition has been organized with the aim of maintaining mutual harmony between the Nepalese people scattered around the world and helping to keep the Nepali language and culture alive among them.

He even said there is a plan to make this program more refined, universal and grand in the coming years. He said, “Talented Nepalis from all over the world were seen on the same stage. Along with their dreams, we have succeeded in bringing art and culture to Nepalis and Nepali speakers around the world. All the Nepalis of the world are happy with this, they have also wished that this program will continue in the future.”

Singers Deep Shrestha, Suresh Adhikari, Anju Pant, Pushpan Pradhan, Sujata Verma are judges of singing competition ‘Mero Voice Universe’ and actresses Mithila Sharma, Shankar BC, Dilip Rayamajhi, Priyanka Karki, Keki Adhikari and Narman Rai are judges for ‘Mero Dance Universe’.

For these competitions, the foundation had selected talent from 52 different countries of the world. A total of 120 singers and 120 dance artists were selected and brought to Nepal three months ago.
