Kathmandu, Dec 26: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel has met Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba at the latter’s residence today morning.
According to Minister’s secretariat, Minister Kharel will be meeting with CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, and Nepal Communist Party Coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
The meetings are scheduled for 11:00 am with Oli, and 12:00 noon with Prachanda.
Minister Kharel is also a member of the high-level dialogue team formed by the government. The team includes Law Minister Anil Sinha and Prime Minister’s Advisor Ajayabhadra Khanal.
Earlier, the dialogue team had conducted inspections of offices belonging to various political parties—including the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Nepal Communist Party, Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)—that were damaged during protests held on September 8 and 9.
