More than 2,000 tree saplings planted in Parbat



Parbat, July 11: Nepal has been running Mount Everest Tree Plantation Campaign as part of its commitment to reduce carbon emissions to zero by 2045.

Under the campaign, 2,500 tree saplings have been planted in Parbat. Under the campaign, which started last year, tree saplings have been planted in various areas of the district with the support of the Division Forest Office Parbat.

Trees have been planted in Bhadkhore Community Forest in Kushma Municipality-7, Kaligandaki Chhamarkepatal Community Forest in Ward No. 2, and Ekasalle Community Forest in Jaljala Rural Municipality.

According to Hemlal Neupane, Head of Division Forest Office, fruit varieties that grow as trees in the hilly areas, including mango, jackfruit, litchi, guava, timur, amla, etc., have been planted in community forests, and public and brazen land.

In addition, about 30,000 seedlings of various species, including fodder grass, have been distributed through the office.#nepal #rss
