Rajbiraj, Oct 28 : A motorcyclist died in a road accident at Gangajali Tol at Saptakoshi municipality-5 in Saptari district today morning.
The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Sharma, 25, of Naya Bazaar in Saptakoshi Municipality-1 in the district, according to the District Police Office, Saptari.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Tilak Bharati shared that the motorcyclist travelling to Fattepur to Kanchanpur on his motorcycle (Ko 33 Pa 527) had died on the spot in the road mishap.
Pillion rider Dipesh Kumar Gojebar, 26, has sustained injuries in his head as well as in other parts of his body. He is receiving treatment at a local health facility in Fattepur.
Police have impounded the motorcycle, according to the Area Police Office, Kanchanpur.
Motorcyclist killed in accident
Bharatpur: A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a bus here last night. The deceased has been identified as Anil Adhikari,30 of Khairhani-1.
The accident happened when the bus ( Na 6 Kha 1741) en route to Bhandara from Narayangadh hit his motorcycle coming from the opposite direction at Parsa Bazar of Khairhani municipality-8.
He, severely injured in the accident breathed his last amidst treatment at Old Medical College, police confirmed.
The bus driver is under the police control for further investigation into the case.–
