Nai Prakashan awards eight distinguished personalities



KATHMANDU: Nai Prakashan has decided to award eight personalities with different awards for their outstanding contribution in their life.

According to Nai Prakashan, the ‘Nai Derunikh Sukirti Award’ of the year 2078 BS will be awarded to Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma, an educationist dedicated to education, playing a vital role for a quality education system in Nepal.

Similarly, the ‘Nai Chandradhan Award’ will be dedicated to Prof. Dr. Madhav Bhattarai, who has been working hard for the promotion, protection and awakening of Sanatan Hinduism and culture.

Also, the ‘Nai Kirtinidhi Award’ will be presented to Mr. Bhairav ​​Risal for his distinguished contribution towards the motherland, always dedicated to the cause of Nepal’s self-respect, national integrity and independence.

The ‘Nai Bhupal Durga Award’ will be dedicated to Mr. Santosh Pant, a beloved artist of the popular mind, for making Nepali language popular across the country through comedy and satire for social awareness and public awareness.

The ‘Nai Ishwor Baral Award’ will be presented to Prof. Dr. Dayaram Shrestha for his historic contribution in making the tradition of Nepali criticism dynamic, prosperous and advanced.

Dedicated to health sciences with mind, words and deeds, Dr. Bhola Rijal will be awarded the ‘Nai Bhavi Award’ for the important role, successful use and exemplary contribution of test tube medicine in Nepal.

The ‘Nai Koili Devi Award’ will be dedicated to Prem Binod Nandan, who has made the Nepali language popular through writing lyric poems.

Also, the ‘New BJP Award’ will be presented to Dr. Ramdayal Rakesh for his significant role in strengthening Nepali national unity by contributing to the growth of Maithili and Nepali language and literature.

The eight prizes, including the copperplate, are worth Rs one lakh each. The decision was taken at a meeting of Nai Prakashan chaired by Mrs. Indira Prasai, Chairperson of Nai Prakashan, said Member Secretary Narendra Raj Prasai.
