NAV and CAN sign agreement to elevate Nepalese cricket

Kathmandu, Nov 21: The Nepalese Association of Victoria (NAV) solidified a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) today.

The MoU signing ceremony took place at the Australian Embassy in Nepal, witnessed by Ambassador Felicity Volk.

Mr. Prem Raj Upreti, President of NAV, and Mr. Chatur Bahadur Chand, President of CAN, officially inked the MoU, marking a significant collaboration between the two organizations.

The primary objectives of this strategic alliance include the promotion of CAN through regular acknowledgment of national cricket players and officials at the prestigious NAV cricket cup.

Additionally, the MoU outlines plans for fundraising initiatives to support CAN and aims to provide exposure to Nepalese cricketers within the Australian cricket landscape, particularly in light of Nepal’s qualification for the World Cup 2024.

As part of this agreement, CAN extends its congratulations to Ambassador Volk and the entire nation of Australia for their recent triumph in the Men’s ODI Cricket World Cup.
