NC’s Lekhak elected HoR member

Kanchanpur: Nepali Congress’s Ramesh Lekhak won a House of Representatives seat from Kanchanpur 3.

He defeated his nearest rival CPN (UML)’s Niru Devi Pal by a wide margin of 12,075 votes. He received 30,523 votes while Pal 18,448.
