Kathmandu, June 4: The second edition of the Nepal Aquatics Swimming Championship, organized by the Nepal Swimming Association, will take place on June 7 and 8 at the outdoor swimming pool in Satdobato, Lalitpur.
The championship will see participation from over 300 athletes, competing in 53 events across age groups and open categories.
According to the association’s secretary, Gangalal Gole, the competition’s preparations, including online registration for participants, have been completed.
The event will be inaugurated by Dr. Hari Lamsal, Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. For the closing ceremony, Tanklal Ghising, Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council, has been invited as the chief guest.
Spectator tickets have been introduced for the event, and the association has announced that all tickets for the finals on the second day have already been sold out.
Tickets, priced at Rs 200, were available exclusively for the VIP parapet section, according to the championship coordinator and the association’s General Secretary, Ishwar Kumar Karki. #nepal #aquatic
