Kathmandu, Dec 1: Nepal Life Insurance Company has provided financial support of Rs 15 million to the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund established by the Government of Nepal.
The company’s Chairman, Mr. Govinda Lal Sanghai, Director Mr. Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Praveen Raman Parajuli jointly handed over a cheque of Rs 15 million to Finance Minister Mr. Rameshwar Prasad Khanal at the Ministry of Finance.
According to Ministry spokesperson Mr. Tanka Prasad Pandeya, Nepal Life contributed the amount under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) to support the reconstruction of damages, economic recovery, and relief efforts following the Gen-Z protests that occurred on September 8 and 9, 2025.
During the event, Finance Minister Khanal expressed his gratitude for the company’s support. With this contribution, the total amount deposited in the Fund has reached Rs 118.2 million as of November 30, 2025. #Nepal #GenZ
