Nepal lost to Bahrain 3-0, eliminated from the World Cup and Asia qualifiers



Kathmandu, March 27:  Nepal lost to Bahrain in their fourth match of the second round of the FIFA World Cup and AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.

In the match at the national stadium of Bahrain, Nepal was stunned by the home team Bahrain with 3-0 goals. With this result, Nepal has been eliminated from the World Cup and Asia qualifiers.

Bahrain scored all three goals in the first half. In the 7th minute of the game, Al-Bakir scored a goal, Abdullah Yusuf Helal scored in the 18th minute (penalty) and Kamil Al Ashwad scored in the 36th minute.

Nepal defeated Laos in the first round and entered the second round of the tournament. Similarly, Nepal has not been able to win in the second round matches. In the second phase, Nepal suffered defeat in all three matches. In the first match in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Nepal was defeated by the UAE by 4-0.

Similarly, in the second match against Yemen at home, Nepal was defeated by 2-0 goal difference. Nepal was defeated by Bahrain by 5-0 in the third match of the second stage which took place on the 8th of Chait, 2080 BS.

In the second stage, Nepal was in Group ‘H’. Nepal’s group includes Bahrain, Yemen and the United Arab Emirates. #Nepal
