KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), country’s sole distributor of petro products, has increased the prices of all types of petroleum products except LPG.
According to the corporation, the price of petrol, diesel, domestic aviation fuel and kerosene have been increased by NRs 2 per liter with effective from 12 mid-night on Tuesday.
After the increase, petrol price in Kathmandu Valley would be NRs. 114, diesel and kerosene at NRs. 97 and domestic aviation fuel NRs 67, according to a press release issued by Spokesperson Binit Mani Upadhyaya.
The corporation says that the price has to be adjusted as the price of petroleum products has increased in the international market.
Earlier, the corporation had increased the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene and LPG on Wednesday. The corporation had adjusted the prices of petroleum products on the basis of new price list received from Indian Oil Corporation.
