Nepal sets a target of 171 runs against USA, Bhurtel’s explosive batting



Kathmandu, Oct 20:  In the second T20 cricket match, Nepal has set a target of 171 runs against the  USA.

Batting first after winning the toss at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas, Texas, Nepal scored 170 runs.

Nepal, led by Kushal Bhurtel’s half-century, posted a total of 170 runs for the loss of six wickets. Kushal contributed 92 runs, hitting seven fours and six sixes off 54 balls.

Nepal’s opener Anil Sah added 25 runs off 31 balls, while fellow opener Aasif Sheikh was dismissed for just 1 run.

Gulshan Jha contributed 19 runs off 12 balls, and captain Rohit Paudel made 18 runs off 14 balls before getting out. Dipendra Singh Airee scored 2 runs, and Aarif Sheikh was dismissed for 1. Karan KC hit a six off the only ball he faced.

For the USA, Jasdeep Singh and Kenjige each took two wickets.

Nepal had won the first match of the series. The third match between the two teams is scheduled for tomorrow. #cricket #nepal #usa
