Nepal Telecom revenue continues to fall

Kathmandu, Nov 11:  In the first three months of the current financial year 2080/81 BS, Nepal Telecom’s income has decreased by more than Rs 39 crore.

According to the financial statement of the first quarter released by Nepal Telecom, the total income up to the first quarter period of the current has remained Rs 10.64 arba.

This amount has decreased by 3.54 percent compared to the total income of the same period last year. Last year, the income was Rs. 11.49 arba.

The total operating income of the company has also decreased by Rs 49.25 crore. The total operating income up to the first quarter of the current year is Rs 8.58 arba.

The net profit for the first quarter of the current year has also decreased. The net profit of the company in the first three months is nearly Rs 2.27 arba.

The company’s earnings per share in this quarter is Rs 45.05. It is said that the main reason for the change in revenue and net profit in the current year is the increasing use of OTT services.
