KATHMANDU, Dec 29: The NEPSE index, which measures stock trading in the stock market, has risen by 5.5 points today.
According to the Nepal Stock Exchange, NEPSE, which has been rising in recent days, has picked up the same pace today.
The NEPSE index rose by 5.57 points to reach 2,1289. The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading volume of large companies, fell 0.13 points to 382.44.
A total of 80,01,314 shares of 209 companies have been bought and sold at a total price of Rs. 4.9 billion. Of the total 12 subgroups traded, shares of four subgroups rose while shares of eight subgroups declined.
Non-life insurance increased by 11.85 points, manufacturing by 195.9 points, others by 50.07 points and microfinance by 11.37 points.
While, banking 9.7, trade 3.22, hotel 4.54, development bank 18.95, finance 2.15, life insurance 70.02 and collective investment funds decreased by 0.01 points.
