New leadership of NRNA took charge

Kathmandu, Oct 22: The new leadership of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has taken charge from Saturday.

After assuming office, the first meeting of the office-bearers was held under the chairmanship of the newly elected president, Dr. Badri KC. However, the decisions of the meeting have not been made public.

Before that, the election committee of the NRNA International Coordination Council gave the new leadership a certificate of election and administered the oath of office and secrecy.

KC, the newly elected president, has said that they will accept the report of the election dispute audit from the international organization that audits information technology. With this commitment of President KC, the controversy related to the election has been resolved.

However the two other candidates of the NRNA President have filed separate complaints, and opposed to accept the result. They have claimed that the system was hacked in favor of Dr KC.
