Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the state-owned entity, has increased the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene oil by Rs 3 per liter.
According to the new price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation, the NOC has increased the price of fuel with effective from Saturday 12:00 mid-night.
Issuing a statement by NOC’s joint spokesperson Pushkar Karki has said that the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene has increased by Rs 3 per liter while implementing the automatic price system.
According to the new price, petrol will cost Rs 145 per liter, diesel and kerosene Rs 128 per liter in the Kathmandu Valley.
The corporation has kept the price of cooking LPG gas and aviation fuel unchanged. Even after the price adjustment, the corporation will incur a loss of Rs 2.15 billion in 15 days, said spokesperson Karki.
