Kathmandu, Nov 24: Two matches are scheduled today in the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) cricket tournament.
The first match will take place at 11:45 am at the TU International Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur, featuring Janakpur Bolts against Biratnagar Kings. The second match, scheduled for 4:00 pm, will see Karnali Yaks face Sudurpaschim Royals.
According to the points table so far, Sudurpaschim Royals and Biratnagar Kings — both of whom have played two matches — are in first and second place respectively with four points each. Kathmandu Gorkhas, having played three matches, are in third place with two points. Pokhara Avengers, who have played two matches and lost both, are at the bottom of the table.

A total of eight franchise teams are competing in the NPL, which began on November 17 : Janakpur Bolts, Sudurpaschim Royals, Karnali Yaks, Pokhara Avengers, Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Kathmandu Gorkhas, and Lumbini Lions. The final will be held on December 13.
No matches were scheduled yesterday, Sunday, as it was designated a rest day in the fixtures previously published by the Cricket Association of Nepal. #nepal #NPL
